An unexpected injury threatens Blake’s Sorensen’s goal to conquer a childhood handicap and achieve a lifelong dream. To graduate from the UW, he must complete an independent study project the last quarter of senior year, but when some of his opiate-addicted test subjects disappear, he uncovers powerful opportunists preying on the city’s most vulnerable.
