A Blake Sorenson Novel

A LUXURY RESORT IN NAPA VALLEY HAS FOUND A UNIQUE NICHE

...AND THE RICH AND POWERFUL ARE CLAMORING FOR MEMBERSHIP.

Costume-driven parties deliver intimate experiences that are beyond imagination.
BUT WHEN a senator disappears and celebrities start to behave strangely,
blackmail simmers,
and people begin to die.

MEET BLAKE SORENSON

I'm 28 and everything I have ever wanted has gone down the drain.

Okay, I admit, I made some bad decisions.

It cost me the love of my life. So, I dropped out of college and gave up grooming for about 6 years.

(Yeah, that's me with the dreads.)

I have no money, no place to live and no family that will claim me. The only talent I can still have is knowing how to shoot a gun.

This is a plus, because a drug gang still wants me dead.

Sad? Just wait, it gets better, er, worse.

I couldn't even kill myself successfully.

(The minute rehab is over, I'm pretty set on trying again.)

But, I just got this really weird letter.

My old roommate, HUGO, kind of a little brother

back in college, practically begs me to do him this one little favor.

Oh, did I mention he's now a robotics billionaire?

Anyway, Hugo sends me for a makeover then asks me to stand in as a bodyguard for a Britney-Spears-Wanna-Be for 12 weeks while her S.O is out-of-action.

Let me just cut to the chase. It doesn't go smoothly.

MEET MIA FONTAINE

I am only 19 years old and already own a big chunk of land in Napa Valley.

Great, huh?

I have a fab house in a refurbished barn with a to-die-for music studio. People look at me and say:

"Mia must have everything a charmed life could offer."

or

"Such a lucky girl!"

or

"An amazing childhood talent who kept it real."

But...they just don't know who I am.

A top ten hit.

Sell out crowds.

One of the best agents in the business.

But...they just don't know what I've done.

Some say you can run from everything except your past.

So why should I give a crap about my future?

I know my secrets can't stay hidden forever

my tattoo is evidence of that.
