Aren't all characters based on a sprinkle of this person and a pinch of another? Let's put it this way, my favorite writer's quote is by Anne Lamott: You own everything that happened to you... TELL YOUR STORIES. If people wanted you to write warmly about them, they should have behaved better.
Is it true writers have been known to imbibe for inspiration?
